Microsoft OneNote now free for PC and Mac

Microsoft OneNote is now available for free on Windows PC and Mac. Previously, the note taking service was available for free for Windows RT, web and mobile devices only. Everything you create in the free PC and Mac versions are synced to OneDrive, so you can access them from your phone and tablet too. OneNote now has a web clipper bookmarklet for Chrome, Firefox, IE, and Safari which works similar to Evernote web clipper.

•OneNote Clipper for saving web pages to OneNote
•me@onenote.com for emailing notes to OneNote
•Office Lens for capturing documents and whiteboards with your Windows Phone
•Sending blog and news articles to OneNote from Feedly, News360 and Weave
•Easy document scanning to OneNote with Brother, Doxie Go, Epson, and Neat
